📋 Overview
Timeora is a productivity app for focus timers, habit tracking, todos, and goals. This policy explains what data the app accesses, how it is used, and your rights as a user.
🔒 Data We Collect
All app data — habits, tasks, goals, focus history, settings, and your name — is stored exclusively in your device's local storage (Android SharedPreferences). It is never transmitted, uploaded, or shared with any third party.
🛂 Permissions Used
Timeora requests the following Android permissions:
- POST_NOTIFICATIONS — to show focus session alerts and habit reminders on your lock screen and notification shade. You can disable this at any time in Android Settings.
- SCHEDULE_EXACT_ALARM / USE_EXACT_ALARM — to fire habit and goal reminders at the exact time you set.
- VIBRATE — to provide haptic feedback when a timer ends.
- WAKE_LOCK — to keep the screen on while a focus session is actively running (optional; released as soon as the timer stops or is paused).
- RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED — to restore scheduled reminders after the device restarts, so your habit and goal notifications still fire on time.
None of these permissions are used to collect, track, or transmit any information about you or your device.
🌐 Internet Access
Timeora does not connect to the internet at runtime. The app uses Google Fonts, which are bundled with the app at build time and loaded entirely offline — no font requests are made to external servers during use.
There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporting service, no advertising network, and no remote API of any kind integrated into the app.
👤 Third‑Party Services
Timeora does not use any third‑party service that collects user data, including but not limited to:
- No Google Analytics / Firebase
- No Facebook SDK
- No advertising networks (AdMob, etc.)
- No crash reporting (Sentry, Crashlytics, etc.)
- No cloud sync or backup service
🗑️ Data Deletion
All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete it at any time by:
- Using the in-app export and then clearing app data in Android Settings
- Uninstalling Timeora — this permanently removes all app data from your device
Because no data is ever sent to a server, there is nothing to request deletion of from our end.
👶 Children's Privacy
Timeora does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The app contains no accounts, no sign‑in, and no data transmission of any kind.
✏️ Changes to This Policy
If this privacy policy is updated, the new version will be published at this URL with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the app after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
